Unforunately, no. I just got home, so I got out a tiny screw driver and opened the only part on it that opens, but alas, all that's inside is the 3 (or maybe it was 4?) watch style batteries that operate it....no buttons on it anywhere. And that includes an on/off switch. What I did, thinking ahead thank goodness, was I kept the little plastic tab that came slid inside a little slot on the front that you have to take out for it to operate. When we've had enough of it, I slide that tab back in its slot and put it up! Don't lose your tab!! She does love it, so I suffer a little while for her every now and again.
