Nothing will stop a determined hawk. Keep your baby close and on a lease while the hawk is around as more than one dog has been carried off. If a hawk can carry of a 7 lb rabbit it can take a Yorkie too. I only allow my fur babies out if my 16 lb Teddy is there to protect them from hawks and raccoons in our yard and we are in a city not the country.
