I'm a Brita girl!! I try to be as 'green' as I can and plastic water bottles seem to be bad for the environment. Dogs have drank/drunk? tap water for years and been fine, but I run it through the Brita anyway! We do love our babies don't we!! I do give them water from the hose for outside, though.
