Her gums were white again so I gave nutri-cal and I put some of the canned food on my finger and put it in her mouth. The vet said to get baby food and try that and call him back in the morning if she is not any better. I did try mashed potatoes a little bit ago a she did not want them. Haven't tried the pumpkin yet. She is just so little and I hate to see her not feeling well. She is now mad at me cause I keep putting stuff in her mouth, when I walk towards her she will go the other way.
Oh, gosh - poor baby, her tummy does not sound good. At this point, you can also try soda crackers, pieces of cereal, white rice.

I guess without blood work, I'm a *little concerned* with recommending too much protein, but - the toddler food that worked for Marcel when his tummy was bad were those little Mini Hot Dogs (for toddlers) in the glass jars (by the baby food) - I'd mush them up and he LOVED them, even if he wasn't feeling well. So, that may be something to try too. Babyfood is worth a try - though I know my guys never were too fond of it, but every dog is different.
