Welcome to YT!! I think you will find it very helpful and informative. I have a 2 yr. old Yorkie girl named Toto. She has the very long [to the floor] coat and I definitely understand about the pee pee on the skirt! We keep the hair on her rear "banded" on each of her haunches and also band the tail ... this helps a lot. We have also trained her to expect lots of praise and a little treat when she goes on her pad ... she taught US that in return for all that, she will turn her little rear around while she gets her treat and she stands there until we dry her little "tee tee" with a paper towel!!
Hope this helps a little ... I also use the little puppy bath wipes if I detect a pee pee smell before she gets her weekly bath!
