Default Desperate for advice on barking at night

Our yorkie is a year and a half old and since weve had her she slept on our bed. we have just moved into a rented property and she will have to now sleep downstairs in the kitchen. We are very worried about her barking at night as we dont want to get complaints and have to move or get rid of her.

Last night we went to bed at 11.30pm and Gracie was still barking at 12.50pm. I couldnt sleep and it was really stressful my partner went downstairs and slept on the sofa with her to keep her quite as she was shaking.

We really dont know what to do with her and I dread going to bed at night. I lay in bed hearing her bark and when she goes quite i pray for her not to start barking again. no such luck!

What methods could you suggest to help with her barking? We are with her in the afternoon and all evening as ive just had a baby.
