Yep, 7. She was the first girl of seven kids, so I guess they gave her all the female family names they wanted to use. I used to know all the names, but don't remember them now. They called her Irma. They had four more girls and they each got a first and middle name. The youngest was a boy and he didn't have a name on his birth certificate and when he got old enough to talk, he called himself Charlie, so that was his name. The other boy's name was John. This was my mother's family and she was not happy with the way her parents named their children. She was very particular about her children's names and wouldn't tolerate nicknames. This was in the early 1900's, my mother was born in 1911. She passed away four years ago next month at 93. All of her siblings are gone now, except for her youngest sister.
