.... the smallest dog ever recorded was a Yorkie, even though Yorkies themselves are not the smallest breed.
Her Name was Sylvia (from England) and she was 2 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches long and AT FULL SIZE, weighed 4 ounces.
She died shortly after her second birthday in 1945.
