You DO NOT want to register these puppies unless you DNA both studs, the dam, and each of the puppies and let AKC let you know which puppy goes with which sire. This will cost you a minimum of $105 for the parents then $35 per puppy if you "prepay" for your DNA kits. They are $40 each if you do not prepay. I have actually known of some show breeders to breed one female with two males intentionally, but with the full knowledge of AKC and the understanding that the DNA would be used to determine the sire of each puppy.

It will be worth paying for the DNA if you have very nice puppies - if not you just need to sell them to people with the full knowledge of this mistake.

Making a mistake doesn't make anyone a bad person - it's what you do with the mistake that determines what kind of person you are.

If I remember correctly, the AKC also charges 500 to register the litter, if it is determined to have 2 sires, on top of the DNA fees.
