Hello and welcome to yt! I did plenty of research too before I got my furbaby Twinkle and I agree with what others have said that the initial costs aren't too high.....I managed to put a little into a savings account each week in the months leading up to looking for a puppy and that helped when it came to all the things like food, bowls, toys etc. I would also recommend pet insurance.....because you never know....I for one know* that I couldn't afford an unexpected vets bill for thousands of pounds...Good luck with the search for your little one xxxx
