I so know what your talking about ... mine used to do this too ... it took me hr. to get her hair cleaned up .... she had long silky hair. We shaved her ... there was no way out ... but it has been growing back ....

I can't give advice on a good brush ..... a few weeks ago somebody posted about a good brush ... maybe you can search for the Brush .... I think it is the shampoo that makes a difference too ... I switched mine and her hair is less tangled and easier to brush .....
