 Vet says yorkies don't blow coat......
My vet has done a mite test because of itching and hair breakage, Tootsie does not have mites. He tells me what is actually happening is her hair is breaking off at new hair growth. He tells me it is because of the breeder feeding her mighty dog and me switching to better food. ( I currently feed Iams Puppy Performance) Now he is trying to get me to switch to Science Diet he says it is a better food.... I this just a vet thing? should I switch again? Gosh being a new yorkie parent is really tough!! Thanks for all the input. |
