You are a sweet person and your posts shows as much.
However, you do NOT know my FIL...he'd just laugh and then say something even ruder.
This IS the man that we moved in with when we moved to this Godforsaken town and I can clearly remember sitting on the couch watching TV with my FIL and DH was reading the newspaper on the other couch.
Without even looking my way, my FIL says to me, "Why don't you get off your fat a$$ and go mow the grass!" I was completely shocked and DH never glanced our way nor has he said anything to this day about it.
I've learned to develop a thick skin when dealing with my FIL. I only go over there a few times a year and try to avoid them at all costs. I'm amazed that the MIL has put up with him for over 30 years! Oh, and you should hear how he speaks to her!!!!!!!
