We have a 5 month old Yorkie that weighs in at 6 lbs now, but have had him since he was only 12 weeks old and 3 lbs. We also have a Siamese that weighs around 15 lbs. They didn't get along with each other for about 2 weeks but now play together all the time. Yes, sometimes the cat gets a little rough but I just tell the cat to calm down and make them stop. Also when the cat does catch the Yorkie with a claw the puppy yelps and runs away and leaves the cat alone for a couple of minutes and then they are right back at it. The Yorkie actually holds his own jumping on top of the cat in the house and the back yard. They are good friends now.
