I keep catching myself looking at my feet when I get off the couch making sure he isn't there to step on. My other dog (beagle) Haggis seems sad too. Even though Starsky picks and picks on him, I think he really misses him. I hope he is eating okay, he had 2 teeth pulled also. I have to work tomorrow and can't get him until after lunch. I want to be home to watch him and I don't get off work until 12:00. I hope he returns to his silly, wild self soon.

I love you and miss you Starsky
I never heard of the vet keeping the pet over night. I guess they want to make sure everythings ok. Gus came home that same day. It was hard becasue it was the first time we had been apart. And that was only for 5 hours. But when he got into his accident he was gone for 4 days and all I did was cry and worry. I hated that he was there alone with strangers! I went to go see him every day, and even though he was badly hurt, his eyes just lit up and his little tail was going a mile a minute! Your little guy will be back in your arms real soon! It may take a few day to get to his oldself but I feel that you did what was best for your babies health.
