It hardly makes sense for her to stay there if no one is actually
going to be there in my opinion. When all of my dogs were spayed
or neutered they were dropped in the morning and picked up in
the late afternoon and they did fine at home and I am sure they
were more comfortable being in the comforts of their home versus
some cage in a strange place. If my vet would have wanted them
to stay I would have found a different vet because I know the
majority go home the same day.
