Hey thanks for the compliements guys! I really appreciate it. I just went to Sally's Beauty Supply and bought a #30 thinning shear. It's no special brand, just $14.99. And, yes, Bernie has a cottony coat....but I'm working with that too. I use BioSilk on my hair, and I have started generously sharing it with Bernie. After I bathe him, I load him up with BioSilk. Now that his hair is thinner, it responds to the BioSilk much better. He will stay silkie for about a week, then he gets another bath and more BioSilk.
