No, they are not painful...just a pain in my butt! It's 'twitching' if you will about every 20-30 seconds.
I did try heat--used one of those stick on thermal patches, but it didn't help. Heck, it was still doing it while the dang patch was on!
I even ate two bananas thinking *maybe* the potassium would help, but no luck.
