I can understand why people would get upset over both of these things, actually.
I don't know
why it is a rule, but I can come to my own conclusions for why I think it's a good idea. With studding comes contracts, with contracts often come shady people and deals gone bad...I can understand admin's desire to remove themselves from being tied to that in any way.
Likewise, I remember the rule regarding asking for Yorkies at low prices was implemented at the request of MANY members. The reasons for such are pretty clearly explained in the rule section where it's mentioned.
