Welcome to YT. I am in kentucky also. I know the culture here well and how the breeders do. but if you can get the breeder to keep him until at least ten weeks, it would be great. There are many issues they can have that young. Low sugar is one of them and I have found that my mom's really don't begin socializing the babies until around eight to ten weeks. they really do need that extra time with mama.
I didn't get mine in Kentucky, but in Indiana. He's a Hoosier~!
