I have not given up on him. I just hate seeing him like this....Maybe if you knew a little more about him.
We moved into this house a year ago in April. Bubba showed up in May...some one had to have dumped him....I have no idea why cause he is the most loving dog. AND he loves my kids....He is house trained....Fixed....minds....and did I mention HE LOVE MY KIDS. He follows them all over town (we live in a town of 200) When the kids are gone he sits on the porch and waits. If they are in town he sits outside whatever house they are in and WAITS. He is very protective of them-not mean just watches over them. He is such an active dog and he also follows us all over town. If we go down the street to see my son he follows. He can run fast-we have closked him running 40 miles an hour!!!! But he does not chase cars. Just follows us. I believe that some one hit him on purpose. Just out of meanness!!!!
It just hurts my feelings that he can't go with the kids. And he HATES not being able to go. When the kids leave for school he cries for them all day til they get back. One day I had to go to town and no one was home. He broke out of the crate and got out the door, drug himself 5 blocks down the street looking for us. When I got home I thought "oh no he went off somewhere to die!" I drove all over town. To all the kids friends houses to see if he was at any of their houses....My last stop was my sons! He was laying under the shade tree with their dogs! |
