I never take the babies away from the mothers, She weans them when she knows it's time. Then they remain with the mother nd even nurse accasionally if she allows it. By the time they go to their new homes at 10 weeks they are very independent and eating dry kibble.

if the breeder tells you that you have to soak their kibble in water or grind it in the blender they are not ready to go to new homes.
