As one who has also had a horrible headache from all of the things that have gone wrong with this gift exchange, please do not stress about it. I am sure your buddy will understand that things sometimes happen. You need to keep your mind on the upcoming trip & surgery, yourself and your family. Your buddy will be very understanding, I know, mine was. You just concentrate on you. The rest will work itself out. Praying for a good outcome with the surgery. Bless you sweetie.
