The first bag I did purchase at PetSmart, however the second bag I purchased at our local Tractor Supply. I wonder if maybe the bag could be old (since I'm sure they probably don't sell as quickly) and the scent has just gotten stronger as they age? Whatever the case, I am going to buy something else today! Thanks for your response.
