she just walks right out of them. But I am only going to "inforce" that she wear them when she is on my bed or on our living room upholstered chair (with me and Pucci). The rest of the time she or they are in the kitchen on their beds and it is easier to wash their beds than all of my bedding. Even one little spot stinks to high heaven 
BTW I have seen some really adorable panties adv on this site...wanted to see if the diaper thing is a good idea before I invested in the non-disposibles.

She is right at 4 lbs and is long and skinny. The smallest diapers I can find here are xs and are probably for 4-6lbs as well. I really only enforce it at night as well and when we have guests over because she always has to be in someone's lap. As gross as it may sound, she does a good job of keeping herself clean. I do need to check into some washable diapers. Let me know if you get some and how they work out for you.
And I love the ones with the bow on the butt, also! Adorable!
