Thanks for all of this good information. I don't have a Yorkie, but I am researching the breed to find out more information about whether I'd like to get one. My main obstacle is the length of the coat. The breed standard I've seen has a very long coat, and I would prefer to keep the coat shorter (more like the way a yorkie puppy looks). Is it okay to keep the coat short, or is there something wrong with doing that?
