How often are you bathing him? Baths that are too often or too infrequent can make their hair too oily or too dry. I make sure to use dog shampoo, plus a cream conditioner that I leave on for a few minutes before I rinse it out. Also, I don't brush them wet, I wait until they dry completely, and then I use a detangler (I use BabyDog grooming spray-smells like baby powder!), or if they're really bad, I confess, I use a spritz or two of Pantene leave-in conditioner. |
