Don't be quick to judge or make a decision about his life. Just read Tink's story (Tink's mom)...she was on the brink of death just a few short months ago. Her injuries were neurological, but she too couldn't move her back legs.

Also, injuries to the spine can be hard to read. He may drag his legs for a long time, then one day just stop....

Bernie was hit by a car when he was a pup and has had extensive surgery. It was MONTHS before he could reliably control a bowel movement. If we'd judged his ability to do that in the first couple of weeks (or months) we would have been wrong.

Please, give it time, if the vet thinks he will improve, I'd bet on that for now.
