The size not only can be a problem with delivering the babies, but also makes them so fragile they can be injured so easily.
These are dogs, they want to run and play and jump and wrestle with other dogs. But their size makes that lifestyle a danger to themselves.
There is also the concern that the same gene that makes them small can also cause other health issues as it does in abnormally small people. They might appear to be healthy but it might decrease their quality of life and life expectancy.

Well said! I don't see anyone comming in and slamming you for being realistic.
That fact that some 3 lb. females can have puppies doesnt always mean that everyone one of them should be bred and allowed to have puppies.
