My friend at work has a male chiuahua who is 2 and still not potty trained and she just lets him go all over the house. See this I cannot have. Being a nurse, this is very unhealthy for my family and not my standard of living to have my house smelling like pee all the time. Ok OK I'm rambling now. I'm overtired. Good night!

The key to potty training is diligence and even then a Yorkie can be trying. Don't give up. It can take a year or two before a Yorkie is completley trained, especially if they are tiny. If you work a lot and the kid aren't doing what they are supposed to do can I reccomend wee wee pads. I'm telling you it is wonderful, especially in the winter time. Only one of mine is trained to wee wee pads. I put them in a dog litter box and she hops in and out and does her duty. Cookies work wonders. EAch time they go tell them good boy or girl and say want cookie. You'd be surprised how a bribe gets them moving. I hope it works out. I can tell by your posts that this was not somthing you really wanted and I'm glad you rethought it before you did something you may regret later. They try our patience I know but I can't imagine my life without my babies. Elaine
