I'm sorry about your family situation - but you're doing the right thing. There's some lists on this site somewhere that you can sign up for free samples of GOOD food - but look at the list and try to find one that your dog can tolerate - and as JeanieK said - your dog needs to also be tested for parvo - Actually if you got more than one dog from a mill - they ALL need to see the vet
Also....try calling your local Humane Society and they can direct you to low cost vet care.
