Dad checked him out and it's not broken but he's all banged up. He let me trim the hair around it and I put peroxide and Neosporin. I gave him his meds he takes for storms and he is resting. What is safe to give him for pain? He weighs 11 pounds. There are NO vets aound here and roads are bumper to bumper with evacuees streaming in from houston. I feel so bad for him. I feel like going down there and hurting someone. They barely speak english so no use. Him and Bubba will NOT be left alone again. My son was here but in my parent's hotel room.

Once again..what can I give him for pain.
OMG Thank GOD you found him and I'm so sorry he got hurt ! I know my vet had given my Chanel a 1/4 baby asprin when she scraped her head on a fence (nail was sticking out) and I'd call a vet to double check that but maybe you could try a little baby asprin ???? You could try this number - this is the ER Vet I took Chanel to and they're super helpful and will answer questions on the phone - 281-340-8387

or this one - I forget who answers on non business days (it's a holiday so I don't know who's open)
