Sorry, but his coat is not black. It is a dark steel blue though. It was almost dusk when I took the photos, so he looks darker. But if you take a closer look at the photos on top of his back where the light is still hitting his coat - you can see his color. Usually yorkies that have a clear gold head, are not black too. So you can tell that way too. I did go back and look at his photos and if you look at the side of his coat it seems black - only because he is facing the house and not getting any light. But thank you for the compliment!
