The weird thing is is that he know's he's not the Alpha dog because as soon as he starts freaking out at someone for touching someone else all I have to do is say his name in a stern voice and he looks and me and he'll test me but I'll say his name all stern like again and he stops. As for the growling while sleeping thing, my mom's friend has 3 Yorkies and she said they do the same thing. He just gets really comfy and when I move it wakes him up and he doesn't like it if I have to move him. He likes to sleep as close to me as possible, this includes sleeping under the blankets. Is that bad for them? He doesn't do the growling in the bed thing so much anymore, I think he realized that I was ignoring him.
