I'm so new here, so I hesitate to post, but I must say that I thought just as you did. I hope that we are right and the OP is a phony, only because that would mean that she doesn't have a precious life on the line. Her follow up of emphasizing the lack of money when so many suggestions were made and some at no cost (eg Rescue) made me wonder if she was expecting someone at YT to wire her $ or something. It also terrifies me that a pup would have to live in an environment where someone could flush her heartworm pills down the toilet!!!
I am praying that, if I am wrong, the pup is safe and doing better. Bless all of you who are so thoughtful and supportive in this community
