Hmm my vet said that if the teats have pus or blood DO NOT put them to nurse. My dog had Mastitis but the discharge was just milk and not pus so the vet said to continue to express milk from those teats and also have thepups suckle to help with the swelling. Her breast glands were getting hard and lumpy like cottage cheese and it looked purple almost...

I put puppy kibble in a processor until it was powder.I also put canned puppy food in a processor and added some water until it looked like a shake. I mixed both powdered kibble and liquid canned puppy food,added a little more water and syringe fed mine.Also try to alternate with puppy formula. I prefer the powdered milk because you only make what you need instead of having to throw out milk before it spoils.
