In many ways, Rowdy fits the picture, except for the pain part. It definitely is transient. For example, it happened today after he had taken a 2 1/2 hour nap with my hubby. We noticed it for about 35 minutes, but we could also see that it was improving. Then we had to leave for about 2 hours for an appointment and Rowdy is free to roam the house (not penned or kenneled). When we returned a few minutes ago, he bounded out to meet us at the door - definitely NOT what he would have done when he awoke from his nap. There is no signs of weakness in any of his extremities, he is jumping and raring to go!!! At any rate, we will be seeing his vet as soon as possible. Thanks again for the information and if anyone else has any sage advice, I love to hear it too!
