I am very sorry your baby is ill. Now your dog is suffering and needs medical intervention NOW. It us up to the owner to provide the care our animals need, and not to allow the pain, suffering to continue.
Sign him/her over to a local humane Society that can take care of him .I know that is hard, but, I do not see what choice you have. PLease do not let your dog to suffer, and die a slow and painful death.
