Free feeding works well for some, but others free feed and fight problems they don't realize they are creating. Feeding on a schedule, a measured amount, and in the crate(if crate training) is how I housebreak any puppy I'm going to keep.

yes she has had 2 accidents now which isnt to bad, she goes on the pee pad and she goes in the garden for a wee aswell,
