Almond oil is available at some health food stores like GNC. If you put oil on them you'll be able to see it. They don't feel greasy but you can definitely feel the oil on the coat. If you do put the coat in oil you will need to bathe twice a week at the minimum. Failing to properly keep the coat when in oil will do more damage than good. If your dog has access to grass and dirt you will want to put a jacket on them before going outside in oil.
If you are
not growing a coat for show the oil may not be the best method.
