I don't find any contraindications for using the two meds together. Here is a link to some info on acepromazine. Acepromazine IMO, nature gave our furkids special saliva to help heal wounds. I know when Gracie licks one of my cuts or scratches, they heal up much more quickly than without her kisses. Maybe it is just the love, I don't know, but as long as baby's mouth has not been in poop or something gross, I see no harm in letting her lick it. Like the other poster said, the sooner you can get it cleaned out and covered with some ointment on it, the better. I hope all of you are safe. What a terrible time for all.
