 Hair loss
I just adopted a 3 year old Yorkie a week ago and took him to the vet. He got all his shots, and some medicine for a yeast/bacterial infection near his tail. I had noticed that his hair was pretty thin and asked the vet if that was normal for the breed, and he said not necessarily. He didn't say there was anything wrong. Duke (my yorkie) has been taking the medicine, but his hair is still falling out in patches. These patches aren't red or weeping, but his skin appears black. Can someone help a new yorkie owner figure all this out?
