i said i have high standards..but you are right about breeding practices.
since there are no laws to protect dogs, anyone can breed them..
breeding a chihuaha to a great dane is just ridiculous.. but a yorkie and a poodle are a great mix.. the purebred dogs of course have standards..
a breeder is supposed to look at the standards and use it to choose
which dogs to breed.. as stated in earlier postings, the dogs bred together should be good examples of their breed with none or few flaws..
even when mixing a breed.
you dont know what you will get when mixing different breeds..
but so far, it has been a good surprise..
my purebred yorkie puppies were also very nice.. i have mixes and purebred yorkies..
so i do see both sides of the story..
