Tatum is on Hydroxyzine for her allergies and has been for quite a while now. Today I went to the vets office to pick up another bottle as I only had enough pills to last me through tomorrow and then I would have been out. I went ahead and I got them today because the weekend is here and also Labor Day, etc. and my vets office of course won't be open. The pills we have now (the ones that we are almost out of) are teeny tiny (they are also cut in half) and they are a bright orange color. Well, I just opened the new bottle of pills that I picked up today from the vets office and they are white in color, and MUCH bigger than the pills we have now. In fact, one half of these new pills that I got are double the size of the bright colored orange ones that we have now. I am scared to death to give these to her in fear of them not even being the right pills

Everything is correct that is printed out on the prescription bottle label, but the pills look totally different (size and color). I don't know what to do

She HAS to have these pills...she NEEDS them. Otherwise she scratches and goes absolutely crazy with her allergies and I DO NOT want her getting another infection around her little nose/mouth.
I am going to try and take a picture of both of these pills together so that you all can see what I'm talking about. If I am able to get a clear enough picture, I will post it here in this thread.
Has anyone whos babies who have been on these pills ever had this happen before? We HAVE actually gotten white pills sometimes, and orange another time, but I never ever remember them being so different in size like this. I have no idea what to do
