Actually, the photo of Cassie is probably around 6 1/2 months. She has a very very thick and cottony coat. Dezi has a simmilar coat but it's nowhere near as thick. I have seen so many different coats and I found info on a site that predicts what kind of coat and what colors they will have based on early observations like what color their roots are on their head at certain ages. (sorry, I don't remember which site it was but it wasn't long ago-try to search for it). Believe it or not, the thick dark coat both of my girls have isn't ideal and almost considered inadequate in Yorkie standards. I love it, but it's hard to keep them combed out! By the way, how did you come up with Mika's name?
