Hello, I have a 9 1/2 month old boy. I trained him from the beginning to a litter pan, but with just a wee wee pad inside, no litter (cause I tried the litter and he wanted to eat it and play with it). It worked great, there is a spray called Housebreaking Aid that I sprayed on the pad for awhile until he really got the hang of it. I don't need to use it anymore. I use a medium sized litter pan and I am able to cut the 23" by 24" wee wee pad in half, so I get two from one. That way they last twice as long. Also, I order them online from a WONDERFUL site called PetEdge.com. I get the 100 pack of Wee Wee Pads for $26.99!!!!! That is about what I would pay for a 30 pack at the pet store. They do charge shipping but I just order 2 at a time and they sell ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING else also. Their prices on toys, brushes everything is so cheap. It is the same stuff as the pet store just about over half the price. I would try that. It has worked really well for us. Let me know how it goes.
