I can understand. I have a 10 yr. old Doxie named Candy. (and 3 Yorkies and 1 Yorkie/Poo) So 5 total. I wish I had the land/room for more.
Those Doxies are really sweet. That is all I use to have until 6 years ago when I got my first Yorkie. But they get older, and I have lost them. Now I only have 1 dachshund left.
Still think it is so good of you to be able to take 17 to your shelter. Bless You.
