I was just about to write up the exact same posting. Nala was given anit-biotics and then coughing pills. My vet told me the same about the weak trachea's in small breeds. The pills reduced the cough, and now she's still coughing, but it's a little different. Like yours, mine coughs when she's excited like if I put a toy down for her to play with. So I'm not sure if it's a cough or a playful growl. Nala's next visit with the vet is next week. I'll keep you updated and keep tabs on this thread, I'm interested to see other's experiences. |
