 Meeting other dogs??
My 3-month-old, Ella, has met a few dogs around the apartment complex, and we've noticed a problem with her. She gets so excited that she jumps around the dogs and puts her paws in their faces, which the other dogs (understandably) are not too excited about. They don't go after her, just back up and look uncomfortable. Is this aggression? She doesn't bark or bite or growl, she just seems way too excited to be around another dog.
Is there something we can do to calm her down so she can interact with other dogs without freaking them out? I've tried picking her up for a while til she settles down, but then she goes back to being too excited. Puppy training class is in our future, but they won't start for a few weeks. |
