it took me months to get rid of fleas.. I used frontline pkus every month. when she kept getting fleas I consulter my vet and he recomended comfortis. I swear by the days end not a flea on her and I have not seen one since. I didn't even treat the house. simply gave her the pill with her food, washed her bedding and vacuumed. I HIGHLY recomend comfortis. I would suggest doing research first though as some dogs can be allergic to the beef in it.. it been almost 3 months now and not a flea (:
